Haydie Peatie
Advanced Myotherapist, Remedial Massage, Pregnancy Massage & Clinical Lead
Clinics: Healesville
Specialities: Pregnancy massage, chronic pain, headaches, neck, jaw pain, TMJ dysfunction
Haydie is an experienced Myotherapist and Remedial Massage Therapist with over a decade of clinical practice in musculoskeletal therapy. Since completing her Bachelor of Health Science in 2012, she has built a career grounded in both evidence-informed treatment and genuine compassion - inspired initially by her desire to help her mother manage chronic pain.
Haydie has a strong clinical interest in chronic pain presentations, particularly headaches, neck and jaw pain, TMJ dysfunction, and conditions affecting the lumbopelvic region, including the lower back, hips and pelvis. She is known for working with clients who feel like they have "tried everything," helping them connect the dots between symptoms and underlying drivers of pain. Her approach goes beyond symptom relief, focusing on education, empowerment, and long-term strategies for improved movement and function.
With additional training and experience in pregnancy care, Haydie is especially passionate about women's health. As a qualified doula, she understands the unique physical and emotional demands of pregnancy and postpartum recovery. She provides safe, supportive, and tailored treatments to help manage pregnancy-related discomfort, improve mobility, and support the body through each stage of change.
Her treatment style is evidence-informed and client-led - meeting each person where they are. She incorporates hands-on techniques such as mobilisation alongside tailored movement strategies, often drawing on principles from Pilates and strength training to enhance outcomes.
Haydie is deeply motivated by the "aha" moments in practice - when clients gain clarity about their bodies and feel empowered to take control of their health. She also enjoys mentoring practitioners, finding the same satisfaction in helping colleagues navigate complex cases and grow in confidence.
Outside the clinic, you'll find Haydie at the gym or practising Pilates and yoga - movements she values personally and integrates thoughtfully into her clinical approach.
