Meet Kaspar Svihla, remedial therapist
Rapid Recovery is pleased to welcome Kaspar Svihla to the team as our newest Remedial Massage Therapist.
Kaspar brings a genuine passion for helping people feel and move better through hands-on care. After initially considering careers in nursing and paramedicine, he discovered remedial massage and quickly realised it was the perfect fit, allowing him to combine his interest in health with a practical, client-focused approach to treatment.
Since completing his Diploma of Remedial Massage, Kaspar has continued building his knowledge and is currently studying an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy. He is particularly interested in chronic pain, sports injuries and headache management, and is committed to ongoing professional development as he continues to expand his clinical skills.
Kaspar enjoys working with clients to identify the underlying cause of their pain rather than simply addressing the symptoms. His treatments often incorporate deep tissue massage techniques and are tailored to each individual's goals, whether they're recovering from an injury, managing ongoing muscle tension or looking to improve their movement and wellbeing.
"I want every client to leave feeling like they've genuinely been treated," says Kaspar. "Listening is one of the most important parts of what I do. Everyone is different, so taking the time to understand what's going on helps me provide treatment that's right for them."
Away from the clinic, Kaspar enjoys an active lifestyle, spending his time playing tennis, soccer and basketball, running, hiking, golfing and training at the gym. His experience working as a gardener also gives him first-hand insight into the physical demands of manual work and the aches and pains that can come with it.
The Rapid Recovery team is excited to welcome Kaspar and looks forward to seeing the positive impact he'll have on our patients and the local community.
Kaspar will be working at our Healesville and Seville clinics. Bookings are available now.
