Scar Release Therapy

Tailored Healing for Abdominal Scars – No Matter Where You Are in Your Journey

These sessions are thoughtfully created for anyone with an abdominal scar. Whether from cesarean birth, laparoscopic surgery, appendectomy, hernia repair, endometriosis surgery, or any other abdominal procedure.

Whether your surgery was a few months ago or many years in the past, you are welcome to receive this care as long as you’re at least 9 weeks post-op and your incision is fully healed (no scabs or open wounds).

Treatment offers both physical relief and practical tools to help you reconnect with and care for your body.

Even if your scar isn’t causing obvious issues, it may be quietly contributing to discomfort in the pelvic area, hips, or lower back, and it often benefits from focused support. This treatment gives your body the attention it may have been missing. Alongside gentle, hands-on care, you’ll also learn simple techniques you can use at home to continue supporting your recovery and long-term wellbeing.

This healing session may be ideal for you if you’re noticing any of the following:

  • Tenderness, soreness, or sensitivity around your scar
  • Discomfort when clothing touches the area
  • A feeling of pulling or tightness with movement
  • Scar tissue that feels thick, raised, or uneven
  • A lingering “shelf” or overhang near the scar
  • Uneven or sunken appearance at the incision site
  • Ongoing hip, pelvic, or lower back discomfort
  • Scar-related pain that fluctuates with your cycle
  • Discomfort during intimacy
  • A sense that your core muscles aren’t engaging properly
  • Tingling, numbness, or altered sensation near the scar
  • Stiffness or reduced mobility in the lower belly or pelvic region
