
Meet Tayla, Senior Osteopath at Rapid Recovery Healesville…
Tayla is a dedicated Osteopath with a double degree in Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy) and Bachelor of Health Science, graduating in 2021. Since then, she has been honing her skills at Croydon Osteopathy, working with a diverse range of patients. Tayla has also expanded her expertise with additional training in Clinical Pilates, and completing Level 1 courses in Dry Needling and Cupping.
Inspiration and Approach
Inspired by a personal history of sports-related injuries, Tayla pursued a career in Osteopathy to help others manage and overcome pain. What drew her to this field was the holistic approach that combines hands-on treatment, exercise prescription, and patient education. Tayla is particularly passionate about addressing pain from a holistic perspective, recognising the importance of considering all aspects of a person’s health and life when treating their pain.
Experience with Professional Sports
While studying, Tayla gained valuable experience working with the Williamstown VFL/VLFW as a sports trainer, collaborating closely with team physiotherapists, doctors, and osteopaths. This experience has equipped her with a strong foundation in treating a variety of sports-related injuries and conditions.
Areas of Interest
Tayla enjoys working with a broad range of patients and conditions, with a particular interest in helping those with headaches and neck pain. She combines treatment with targeted exercises, focusing on supporting patients in their journey towards improved well-being.
